The third largest city of the USA with 1.2 million inhabitants is situated in the federal state of Texas. For a long time, the city had been known for its oil industry. Nowadays, other branches of industry like transportation or computer technologies are of a greater importance. The three-storey Dallas Convention Center provides on the middle floor six exhibition halls of different size. A theatre and a big, round arena (2,000 sqm) are part of the complex. The lowest level accommodates an additional exhibition hall with a size of 20,000 sqm. Besides the fairground, the Dart Light train station is located. The Center is reachable by car via the Central Expressway, the highway 183 and the Interstate 30 and 45. At the complex, a car park with 1,200 places and a large parking area with 2,000 places are available. The Forth Worth airport is close to Dallas, with flights to and from international destinations all over the world.
