Metropolitan Expo

Athens is capital as well as cultural, historical and commercial centre of Greece with around 4 million inhabitants. At the beginning of the year 2009 the exhibition and convention centre, which is located at one of Greece’s most important junctions - the international airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" - was opened. There are two parking lots covering a total area of 100.000 m². From there it is possible to use a shuttle bus to the convention centre. The area of the centre was created as a venue only. It covers an area of 160.000 m² of which 50.000 m² are canopied. Additionally the centre offers a hotel complex with highest standards guaranteeing its guests a pleasant stay. The Metropolitan Expo is suitable for exhibitions, conventions and a huge amount of events. In the direct neighbourhood of the centre there are Greece’s biggest shopping malls, which attract thousands of consumers daily.
