The HydroGeology Forum is an international trade fair and industry platform dedicated to hydrogeology, groundwater monitoring and water resource protection. The event takes place at Ptak Warsaw Expo in Nadarzyn, near Warsaw, Poland, and is organised by Ptak Warsaw Expo Sp. z o.o. The organiser operates one of Poland’s leading exhibition and congress centres and hosts numerous international trade fairs across a wide range of industries. Open exclusively to trade visitors, the HydroGeology Forum showcases advanced technologies and practical solutions for the safe and sustainable use of groundwater resources.

The exhibition focuses on groundwater supply security, hydrogeological investigations, advanced drilling and well construction technologies, and the digital collection and analysis of hydrogeological data. Exhibits range from drilling equipment, pumping systems and deep well technologies to piezometers, geophysical instruments and digital solutions for continuous groundwater level and water quality monitoring. Other areas include geographic information systems (GIS), hydrogeological modelling software, digital twins of groundwater abstraction facilities, laboratory testing methods and technologies for the remediation of contaminated soils and aquifers. Further topics cover geothermal energy, ground-source heat pumps, environmental regulatory requirements and the preparation of technical documentation for hydrogeological projects. The technologies and services on display support the planning, implementation and monitoring of projects in water supply, industry and infrastructure development.

A key feature of the event programme is the Conference on Hydrogeological Investments, which bridges scientific research and the practical needs of local authorities, water utilities, industry and investors. Industry experts explore advanced measurement techniques, digital monitoring systems, GIS technologies, geothermal drilling and the cost-effective application of geothermal solutions. The conference encourages knowledge sharing, provides insights into the latest developments and offers opportunities to assess suitable technologies for new projects and establish long-term business partnerships.

Exhibitors include hydrogeological and geological consultancies, environmental and engineering consultancies, drilling and well construction contractors, and manufacturers of drilling rigs, pumping equipment and monitoring systems. The exhibition also brings together providers of GIS, modelling and monitoring software, environmental and research laboratories, geophysical service providers, surveying companies, and specialists in contaminated land remediation and geothermal energy. Universities, research institutions, professional associations and trade media further broaden the range of participants. The event is primarily aimed at hydrogeologists, geologists, engineers, environmental specialists, project developers and local government decision-makers. It also attracts representatives of water treatment plants and utilities, alongside technical specialists and senior managers from industry, construction, energy supply and infrastructure planning. Investors and public-sector clients can also explore technical services and innovative products while connecting with potential project partners.

The HydroGeology Forum provides a dedicated platform for discovering the latest developments in hydrogeology, expanding professional expertise and establishing new business contacts. It also encourages discussion of sustainable approaches to groundwater management and resource protection. The event is held at the modern Ptak Warsaw Expo exhibition and congress centre in Nadarzyn, approximately 25 kilometres south-west of central Warsaw. Located close to the S8 expressway, the venue is particularly accessible by car. International visitors can fly into Warsaw Chopin Airport and continue to the exhibition centre by taxi or hire car.

The first edition and therefore the premiere of the HydroGeology Forum takes place on 3 days from Tue., 12.01.2027 to Thur., 14.01.2027 in Nadarzyn.
