ICCI Istanbul
20. - 22. January 2027 | International trade fair and conference for energy and environmental protection
ICCI – the International Energy and Environment Fair and Conference – is one of the leading international trade fairs and conferences for the energy and environmental sectors in Türkiye and the surrounding region. Since its launch in 1994, the event has developed into an established meeting place for the energy industry. Today, it brings together stakeholders from across the entire energy value chain, from power producers and grid operators to technology providers, EPC companies, investors and representatives of public institutions.
ICCI takes place annually in Istanbul and is organised by TG Expo International Fairs Inc. Backed by the organiser’s extensive experience and the event’s continuous development, ICCI has established a strong position within the Turkish energy market.
The event focuses on technologies and investment areas that are particularly relevant to the current transformation of the energy sector. Key topics include renewable energy sources such as solar, wind and geothermal power, energy and battery storage systems, energy efficiency, decarbonisation, digitalisation, smart grids, power networks and grid infrastructure. Other areas of focus include hydrogen, e-mobility, innovative energy and utility technologies, energy trading and security of supply. The event also covers natural gas and LNG, high-voltage infrastructure and substations, conventional and nuclear energy, as well as the growing electricity demand of data centres and other energy-intensive industries of the future. In this way, ICCI addresses both the transition towards more climate-friendly energy systems and the strategically important challenge for Türkiye of ensuring a secure, affordable and reliable energy supply.
On the exhibition floor, manufacturers, technology companies and service providers showcase a wide range of products, systems and solutions for energy generation, storage, transmission, distribution and control. These include photovoltaic and wind energy technologies, battery storage and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, energy management and automation solutions, measurement and control technology, and grid and high-voltage equipment. The portfolio also encompasses digital energy platforms, smart grid solutions, and hydrogen and e-mobility technologies. This is complemented by engineering, EPC, consultancy, financing and investment services. Trade visitors can therefore compare different technologies and solutions, develop new projects and establish contacts with potential suppliers, customers and business partners.
One of ICCI’s key strengths is its combination of exhibition, specialist conference and business networking. Industry experts discuss current developments and challenges relating to the energy transition, decarbonisation, energy storage technologies, power grids, digitalisation and security of supply. International hosted buyer programmes, B2B meetings and networking events support the development of new business relationships and facilitate access to new markets.
For exhibitors, ICCI is particularly relevant to companies operating in power generation and supply, renewable energy, energy storage, electrical engineering, grid and infrastructure technology, plant engineering, engineering and EPC, environmental technology, digitalisation, hydrogen and e-mobility, as well as energy and financial services. Its professional audience primarily comprises senior executives and decision-makers from utilities and industrial companies, alongside project developers, engineers, procurement professionals, investors and technology specialists. Representatives of EPC companies, grid operators, government authorities, industry associations and public institutions also attend. ICCI is therefore not simply a product showcase, but also a business, investment and knowledge-sharing platform for the energy industry.
Combined with Istanbul’s importance as a major economic centre and a gateway between Europe and Asia, ICCI is an important meeting place for companies, investors and decision-makers involved in shaping the future of energy supply, energy technology and sustainable infrastructure in Türkiye and beyond.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 24. May to 26. May 2023, about 146 exhibitors from 12 countries and 16500 visitors from 55 countries on the ICCI in Istanbul.
This year the ICCI takes place on 3 days from Wed., 20.01.2027 to Fri., 22.01.2027 in Istanbul already for the 30th time.
