IMDEX Asia is one of the world’s leading trade exhibitions and conferences for maritime defence and security, exclusively tailored for industry professionals. Since its inception in 1997, the biennial event, held at the state-of-the-art Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore, has evolved into a key platform for military decision-makers, technology providers, and industry experts in the global maritime defence sector. It is organized by Experia Events Pte Ltd, an experienced host of security- and technology-focused events that meet the highest international standards.

The exhibition offers a comprehensive overview of the latest products, technologies, and services in the maritime defence industry—from advanced radar systems and communication solutions to unmanned underwater vehicles, warships, submarines, software applications, and specialized materials for maritime operations. In addition to showcasing technological innovations, the event focuses on geopolitical security challenges and emerging maritime trends.

As the host country, Singapore plays a pivotal role. Thanks to its political stability, strategic location along the Strait of Malacca—one of the world’s busiest shipping lanes—and its advanced infrastructure, Singapore is a major player in maritime security. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 03. May to 05. May 2023, about 250 exhibitors and 12000 visitors from 70 countries on the IMDEX Asia in Singapore.
