IMLAB Algiers

The IMLAB Alger, a specialized trade fair focusing on laboratory and medical imaging, was first held in 2022 at the prestigious Palais des Expositions SAFEX in the heart of Algiers. Since then, it has established itself as an annual key event.

The name "IMLAB" stands for "Imagerie et Laboratoire", which highlights the fair's focal points—medical imaging and laboratory equipment. This focus makes the fair unique in the region and creates a comprehensive platform for manufacturers, dealers, and professionals in the healthcare sector.

The fair's themes are divided into three main categories: medical imaging, laboratory, and related areas. Offerings include imaging equipment, contrast agents, special agents, molecular and functional imaging, laboratory equipment, automation, robotics, analyses, tests, molecular biology, and genomics. The range is complemented by supplies and consumables, safety equipment, furniture, and fittings.

Organized by EVENCIA, the fair attracts a wide range of visitors, including directors and managers of imaging centers and laboratories, doctors, laboratory technicians, medical engineers, and other professionals. Exhibitors present the latest technologies and products in areas such as laboratory equipment, molecular imaging, automation, and safety equipment.

IMLAB offers an extensive program of conferences and seminars where leading experts share their knowledge. Highlights of the fair include live product demonstrations and interactive networking activities. A particular emphasis is placed on advanced imaging and AI technologies, which are increasingly important in modern medical diagnostics and research.

The fair also plays a significant cultural and economic role for the city of Algiers and Algeria by promoting local innovations and strengthening international partnerships. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 25. October to 28. October 2023, about 83 exhibitors and 5017 visitors on the IMLAB in Algiers.

Already for the forth time the IMLAB takes place on 4 days from Wed., 15.10.2025 to Sat., 18.10.2025 in Algiers.
