INTERMOT Cologne

The INTERMOT in Cologne is one of the leading international trade fairs for motorcycles, scooters, and e-bikes, blending the best of both trade and public shows. Organized biennially in even years by Koelnmesse GmbH, INTERMOT has established itself as an indispensable gathering for industry insiders and enthusiasts since its inception in 1998. It originally evolved from the IFMA (International Bicycle and Motorcycle Exhibition), which was dissolved in 2008.

Today, INTERMOT is recognized as the world's second-largest motorcycle show, following the EICMA in Milan. It showcases a wide range of products, from motorcycles and accessories to apparel and cutting-edge electric mobility solutions. Visitors can look forward to a diverse selection of helmets, boots, weatherproof clothing, and other accessories like goggles, scarves, and gloves.

A particular highlight is the extensive outdoor area, used alongside the exhibition halls for stunts, drag racing, and demonstration races. Here, visitors can test products on various tracks under real conditions and showcase their riding skills.

The fair takes place in the modern halls of Kölnmesse, known for their excellent infrastructure and accessibility. As a platform for both trade visitors and consumers, INTERMOT attracts thousands of attendees worldwide each year, presenting new products and special exhibitions.

On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 6 days of the fair, from 04. October to 09. October 2022, about 500 exhibitors from 30 countries and 100000 visitors from 75 countries on the INTERMOT in Cologne.
