The "Iran Renewable Energy Conference and Exhibition" (Iran REC), held annually since 2016 at the IRIB International Conference Center in Tehran, has established itself as a central meeting point for experts in the renewable energy sector. It serves as a platform for showcasing and discussing the latest technologies and developments in this field.
The event is organized by the "Iran Renewable Energy Association" (IrREA), which is committed to promoting and developing renewable energy in Iran.
The main topics of Iran REC cover a wide range of renewable energy technologies including solar power, photovoltaics, wind energy, and power plants that utilize biomass, small hydropower, and waste heat recovery. Exhibitors display their latest products and services, such as solar panels, solar inverters, and wind turbines, which represent technological progress in the region.
The expo is of great significance for Tehran and Iran as it highlights the potential for using renewable energies in the country and supports the transition to sustainable energy. A highlight of the event is the "Iran Renewable Energy Award," which recognizes exceptional achievements and innovations in the industry.
Participants of the expo come from various sectors, particularly those related to renewable energy and environmental technology. Visitors include representatives from government organizations, NGOs, companies, as well as professionals and individuals who are committed to advancing renewable energy technologies.
Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the IRIB International Conference Center offers excellent infrastructure. Its convenient connection to the transportation network as well as to hotels and entertainment facilities makes it an ideal venue for both national and international guests.
The IRAN REC takes place annually, and therefore for the 9th time previsibly in May 2025 in Tehran.
