Every two years, the largest international exhibition on civil aviation and airports in Turkey, the Balkans, the Middle East and the CIS republics, the Istanbul Airshow, takes place directly at the Istanbul Atatürk Airport. A peculiarity is that this is the only aviation show in this region that focuses exclusively on civil aviation. The exhibition also sets a benchmark for the aerospace and airport industries in Eurasia and the Middle East, as it tackles the issue of restructuring and investment at a very early stage. In this context, it represents an important business platform for civil aviation. The range of products includes medium and long range aircrafts as well as air ambulances, helicopters, firefighting and sports aircrafts, avionics, air freight and interior equipment.
