The ITEC – IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference and Expo – was established in 2012 and is now recognized as one of the leading international trade events in the field of intelligent and sustainable transportation electrification.

The acronym ITEC stands for the IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference, and the event is complemented by the Electric Aircraft Technologies Symposium (EATS) – highlighting its broad thematic scope, ranging from road to air transportation electrification. The event is organized by RNA Associates on behalf of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the world’s largest technical professional organization. Held annually in June, the conference rotates locations within the United States to showcase electromobility innovations in various urban technology hubs.

ITEC positions itself not as a conventional industry event, but as a global meeting point for professionals from industry, research, policy, and development who are actively shaping the transition from conventional to electric transportation. Its unique strength lies in its focused attention on key future-oriented technological areas.
