The InterMET Asia will take place in Singapore. This growing show represents a unique international marketplace bringing together the global weather and climate industry with all those in the public and private sectors seeking to mitigate and manage the risks of extreme weather and climate change and to understand the opportunities presented. It combines a high-quality international conference, including a Special Session sponsored by the World Bank and the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction & Recovery (GFDRR), with an international exhibition of technology companies and service providers. The fast-growing Asian market represents a quarter of the global weather services sector. As the only dedicated event in Asia, Africa and the Pacific, InterMET Asia brings together the public and private sectors, NMHSs, insurers and development agencies and weather-affected enterprises, and features a hosted delegate programme for NMHSs.
