International Gem & Jewelry Show - InterGem® Novi

The International Gem & Jewelry Show – InterGem® is one of the leading consumer jewellery exhibitions in the United States, specialising in the direct sale of jewellery, gemstones and jewellery supplies. It is widely recognised as America's longest-running continuously held public show of its kind. Visitors have the rare opportunity to purchase jewellery and gemstones directly from manufacturers and dealers, compare products side by side, and receive expert advice in person. Since its inception, the show has grown into one of the world's largest direct-to-consumer marketplaces for jewellery and gemstones. It is organised by InterGem, Inc., which stages more than 60 events each year across over 35 cities throughout the United States, promoting direct trade between exhibitors and buyers for decades.

The InterGem® Novi event is held twice a year at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace, formerly known as the Suburban Collection Showplace until the end of 2025. One of Michigan's largest exhibition and event venues, it is located in the economically strong Detroit metropolitan area, a region renowned for its high purchasing power and long-standing retail and luxury goods sectors. Thanks to this strategic location, the event attracts visitors from across Michigan and neighbouring states, making it one of the leading jewellery shows in the American Midwest.

The exhibition covers virtually the entire jewellery and gemstone value chain. Exhibits include fine diamond, gold and silver jewellery, engagement and wedding rings, men's jewellery, and bespoke jewellery pieces. The range is further complemented by loose gemstones such as diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds and opals, alongside numerous other precious and semi-precious stones sourced from around the world. Visitors will also find freshwater, Akoya, Tahitian and South Sea pearls, coral, glass and natural stone beads, crystals, jewellery chains, clasps, mountings, as well as tools and materials for jewellers, jewellery designers and hobby jewellery makers. The exhibition also features vintage and antique jewellery, estate jewellery, historic jewellery pieces, watches, fashion jewellery, hair accessories and giftware. At many venues, additional services such as complimentary jewellery cleaning, minor repairs, and expert advice on gemstones and jewellery care are also available.

Exhibitors include jewellery manufacturers, gemstone dealers, diamond and pearl importers, goldsmiths, jewellery designers, mineral dealers, suppliers of pearls, crystals and jewellery-making materials, as well as wholesalers and specialist retailers. The visitor profile is equally diverse, ranging from private jewellery enthusiasts and collectors to hobby jewellery designers, goldsmiths, jewellers, resellers and commercial buyers seeking new products, materials and suppliers. This unique combination of trade professionals and private consumers gives the show its distinctive character and creates a buying environment that differs significantly from a traditional trade-only exhibition.

The Novi event forms part of the nationwide InterGem® exhibition series, which takes place annually in numerous cities across the United States. As a result, both private visitors and trade professionals have access to an international selection of jewellery and gemstone suppliers. The Vibe Credit Union Showplace is located on Grand River Avenue in Novi and offers modern exhibition halls, extensive on-site parking and convenient access to Interstate 96. The venue is approximately a 30 to 40-minute drive from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), providing excellent accessibility for visitors from across the region as well as national and international exhibitors.
