The International Gem & Jewelry Show – InterGem® is one of the leading consumer trade shows for gemstones, jewellery and jewellery-making supplies in the United States. It offers both trade professionals and members of the public the opportunity to purchase high-quality jewellery and gemstones directly from manufacturers, importers and designers. The Saint Paul edition takes place at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, one of Minnesota's largest and most historic event venues.
The show is organised by InterGem, Inc., a company specialising in gemstone and jewellery exhibitions that has been staging events of this kind since the 1960s. Through its nationwide InterGem® show series, the company hosts events at numerous locations across the United States, bringing together manufacturers, wholesalers, designers and consumers in a single marketplace. By eliminating several levels of the traditional supply chain, visitors often benefit from an exceptionally wide selection and competitive prices.
The exhibition showcases fine jewellery in gold, silver and platinum, exclusive designer collections, engagement and wedding rings, as well as loose gemstones including diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds and a wide variety of other precious and semi-precious stones. Opals and pearls are also consistently among the most sought-after products and are available in an extensive range of varieties. The offering is further complemented by vintage and estate jewellery, handcrafted one-of-a-kind pieces by international jewellery designers, pearls and beads for jewellery making, and a comprehensive selection of jewellery-making supplies. In addition, exhibitors present settings, clasps, chains, materials and other components for jewellers and jewellery designers. Watches, men's accessories, fashion accessories and services such as jewellery cleaning, repairs and, in some cases, bespoke jewellery design also form part of the exhibition.
One of the show's distinguishing features is the opportunity to compare and purchase jewellery and gemstones from a wide range of exhibitors in one location. Visitors also benefit from personal advice provided by experienced gemmologists and jewellery experts, as well as the broad international representation of exhibitors. The event places particular emphasis on creating a comprehensive shopping experience while encouraging direct interaction between exhibitors and visitors.
Exhibitors primarily represent the jewellery manufacturing, gemstone, diamond and pearl trade, goldsmithing, jewellery design, watch retail, jewellery supplies, materials and repair services sectors. Visitors include jewellery enthusiasts, gemstone and mineral collectors, jewellery designers, goldsmiths, jewellers, resellers, as well as registered trade buyers and wholesalers, for whom a dedicated wholesale section is available.
The event forms part of the nationwide InterGem® show series, which is held annually in numerous cities across the United States. It provides exhibitors and visitors alike with a nationwide platform for trading jewellery, gemstones and related products.
The Minnesota State Fairgrounds offers spacious exhibition halls, modern visitor facilities and ample parking. Conveniently located between the city centres of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, the venue is easily accessible by car via the Interstate Highway network as well as by Metro Transit bus services. Its proximity to hotels, restaurants and Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport also makes travel convenient for visitors from across the United States and abroad.
The International Gem & Jewelry Show - InterGem® will take place on 3 days from Friday, 26. June to Sunday, 28. June 2026 in Saint Paul.
