The JOYA is Latin America’s most important trade fair for jewelry, watches, and accessories. It takes place three times a year, alternating between two of Mexico’s key exhibition centers: Expo Guadalajara in Guadalajara and the World Trade Center (WTC) in Mexico City. By rotating locations, the fair reaches a broad audience from across the country and beyond – from regional retailers to international buyers and designers.
Designed as a trade-only event, JOYA also appeals to an interested public and successfully positions itself between an industry meeting point and a trend platform. At its core is the exchange across the entire value chain of the jewelry industry – from manufacturers and wholesalers to retailers, designers, and technology providers.
The fair showcases complete jewelry collections across all price ranges – from affordable mass-market pieces to exclusive one-of-a-kind creations made from gold, silver, gemstones, or mother-of-pearl. A key highlight is the diversity of materials used: alongside classic gemstones such as diamonds, emeralds, and rubies, the selection also includes semi-precious stones, cultured pearls, and various metal alloys. The jewelry offering is complemented by a wide range of watches – from elegant classics to sporty and fashionable models.
A growing focus of the fair is on technological innovation. Specialized exhibitors present the latest advancements in CAD/CAM software, 3D printing, production machinery, and digital business management – including point-of-sale systems, inventory solutions, and CRM software for the jewelry trade. Additionally, services such as jewelry insurance, financing solutions, and security concepts for retail stores are presented.
JOYA also serves as a key marketplace for raw materials. Loose gemstones and semi-precious stones, pearls, metals, and jewelry-making supplies are part of the offerings, as well as modern packaging and display solutions – from traditional cases to innovative presentation systems.
Another highlight is the diverse supporting program, which focuses on education and trend awareness. Professional lectures, design competitions, workshops, and interactive trend zones create space for knowledge exchange and creative inspiration. Topics include new design trends, technological progress, and modern marketing strategies.
The two venues rank among the most modern exhibition centers in the country. Expo Guadalajara, located in the economically strong state of Jalisco, impresses with its spacious layout and up-to-date infrastructure. The WTC México in the capital offers a central location and an international setting. Both venues feature excellent transport links, a wide range of hotels, and professional conditions for successful business interactions.
With three editions each year and a strong emphasis on quality, innovation, and commercial relevance, JOYA is an essential event for everyone involved in or interested in the jewelry industry. More than just a marketplace, it sets the tone for trends, technology, and growth in the Latin American jewelry world.
The JOYA will take place on 3 days from Tuesday, 27. January to Thursday, 29. January 2026 in Mexico City.
