The LabCon - formerly OMNILAB - in Leipzig offers its visitors a wide range of products from the areas of laboratory supplies, laboratory equipment, life sciences, chemicals, chromatography, and laboratory setups. At LabCon, hundreds of interested individuals delve deep into the world of laboratories and seize the opportunity to discover the latest trends and developments in the laboratory industry. The product specialists from around 60 exhibitors provide comprehensive advice and individual application tips. The fair is accompanied by a varied and informative lecture program. These lectures are an excellent opportunity to expand knowledge and gain valuable insights from industry leaders. Additionally, visitors have the chance to participate in a free training, including receiving a participation certificate. Networking is also a key focus. A buffet and seating areas invite relaxed conversations and lingering.

The company is a leading and globally active laboratory equipment supplier and partner for research, science, industry, and education. With over 80 years of experience, OMNILAB offers innovative products, competent advice, and individual solutions for work in the laboratory. In addition to the fair in Leipzig, this event is also held in Hamburg.
LabCon is held at the Media City Atelier in Leipzig. In May 2000, Media City Leipzig was opened on the site of the former slaughterhouse in the Südvorstadt district of Leipzig, a complex dedicated to the production of television and film content. It is located north adjacent to the main headquarters of MDR and comprises five four-story office buildings that are similar in construction and surrounded by green courtyards. A glass hall, also known as the Media Garden, forms the connecting element of the building complexes. The external design of the modern buildings is in a uniform sand tone, echoing the yellow brick facades of the former slaughterhouse buildings.
