MINEX Izmir

Since its inception in 2005, the MINEX – International Mining, Natural Resources & Technologies Expo has established itself as the leading trade fair for mining, natural resources, and innovative technologies in Turkey. Organized by İzmir Fair Services Culture and Art Affairs (İZFAŞ), the event benefits greatly from the organization’s extensive experience, making MINEX one of the most significant industry gatherings in Eurasia today. Every two years, the Fuar İzmir exhibition center transforms into an international meeting point for decision-makers, professionals, and innovators.

The expo stands out with its comprehensive coverage of the entire mining value chain. It spans geological and geophysical exploration of deposits, state-of-the-art drilling, tunneling, and conveying technologies, as well as advanced mineral processing and sustainable after-treatment solutions. The range of exhibits includes machinery for exploration, crushing, and classification, as well as logistics systems, environmental technologies, and occupational health and safety solutions. Special emphasis is placed on equipment for the industrial processing of minerals and advanced technologies for environmentally responsible mining operations.

A key feature of the event is the concurrently held International Mining Machinery and Technologies Congress (IMMAT), which serves as an interface between research, technological development, and practical application. Here, current scientific findings are discussed, new industry trends are presented, and innovative solutions are recognized. This makes MINEX an essential platform for knowledge exchange and networking.

The participant base is both international and diverse. Alongside leading Turkish companies, numerous market leaders from countries such as Finland, Spain, the United Kingdom, Canada, China, Iran, and South Africa are represented. The expo specifically targets buyers from globally operating mining companies, engineers, consultants, government officials, and academics, positioning itself as a central hub for stakeholders across the mining and raw materials industries.
