MIPFormats Cannes

MIPFormats is an international trade fair and conference focused on the development and distribution of TV and digital formats. It is held annually at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, as part of the prestigious MIPTV event, one of the world's largest and most important trade shows for television and video programming. MIPFormats brings together producers, broadcasters, distributors, and buyers from the global entertainment industry to discover new formats and trends, build business relationships, and discuss innovative strategies for adapting content to different markets and platforms. The event features an extensive program of pitch competitions, workshops, masterclasses, and networking events, offering attendees the opportunity to pitch their ideas, learn from each other, and meet potential partners for international co-productions and distribution deals. MIPFormats puts special emphasis on discovering new talent and emerging producers, offering them a platform to present their projects to international decision-makers.

In addition to MIPFormats, MIPTV also hosts MIPDoc and MIPDrama, which focus on documentaries and drama productions, respectively, during MIPTV week.
