MTA Hanoi

MTA Hanoi is an international trade fair and conference for industrial machinery, metalworking and precision manufacturing, and is one of Vietnam’s specialist industry events for the manufacturing sector. Held annually in Hanoi, usually in the autumn, the event takes place at the VEC – Vietnam Exhibition Center, a modern, large-scale exhibition and events venue in the Vietnamese capital.

MTA Hanoi is organised by Informa Markets Vietnam, part of Informa Markets, an international events company that organises trade fairs, conferences and business events worldwide. The exhibition focuses on technologies and solutions for efficient, high-precision and increasingly automated industrial production. Exhibits include metal-cutting machine tools, forming and sheet metalworking machinery, cutting tools and tooling systems, as well as measurement, inspection and testing equipment. The event also showcases solutions for mould and die making, welding, honing, lapping and precision finishing. The range is complemented by software and prototyping systems, factory equipment, surface and heat treatment technologies, and industrial adhesives, sealants, lubricants and chemicals.

MTA Hanoi is particularly significant given Vietnam’s position as a manufacturing and business location. The country has developed into a major industrial hub in Southeast Asia, with Hanoi and northern Vietnam in particular attracting numerous companies involved in mechanical engineering, electronics, metalworking and industrial manufacturing. Against this backdrop, the exhibition provides Vietnamese and international companies with a platform to showcase new technologies and solutions, establish business contacts and exchange knowledge on current developments in automation, digitalisation, precision machining and advanced manufacturing processes.

The exhibition is therefore aimed at industry professionals and senior managers, engineers, production and operations managers, buyers, technical decision-makers and specialists from mechanical engineering, the automotive industry, electronics manufacturing, metalworking and other manufacturing sectors.
