The Mechanical Components & Technology Expo Tokyo (M-Tech) is one of Asia’s leading trade fairs for mechanical components and advanced manufacturing technologies. Since its launch in 1997, it has established itself as an annual platform showcasing precision, innovation, and industrial trends of the future.
The event is organized by RX Japan Ltd., one of the country’s most prominent trade show organizers. The venue is Tokyo Big Sight – a modern exhibition center that is easily accessible thanks to its excellent public transport connections.
At the core of the exhibition are mechanical components such as gears, bearings, couplings, seals, springs, precision parts, as well as complete drive systems and motor technologies. This range is further enhanced by cutting-edge manufacturing methods, including machining, 3D printing, grinding techniques, non-cutting processing, and assembly technologies.
A defining feature of M-Tech is its interdisciplinary approach. Through the “show-in-show” concept of Manufacturing World, thematically related sectors are interconnected—for example, high-performance materials are combined with surface and heat treatments such as coatings or electroplating.
A strong focus is placed on future-oriented topics such as Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, IoT-enabled components, digital twins, and the integration of artificial intelligence in production. M-Tech offers practical insights into how digital technologies can enhance efficiency, precision, and sustainability in industrial processes.
The expo serves as a key meeting point for companies in drive technology, linear motion systems, precision mechanics, robotics, automation, and plastic and metal processing. The visitor profile is equally diverse: decision-makers in development, production, research, quality assurance, and procurement attend the show to gather information and network. M-Tech is especially valued for its presentation of both domestic and international innovations—many companies use it as a launchpad for global or Asian premieres.
Although held in Chiba, the event represents the industrial heart of Japan—a nation globally recognized for its expertise in high-tech, precision, and efficiency. As part of Manufacturing World, M-Tech is embedded in a series of thematically focused industrial exhibitions held across various Japanese cities.
With its clear thematic focus, global relevance, and technical depth, the Mechanical Components & Technology Expo Tokyo has become a key fixture in the international trade fair calendar.
The Mechanical Components & Technology Expo Tokyo will take place on 3 days from Wednesday, 01. July to Friday, 03. July 2026 in Tokyo.
