Once a year, the Classic Remise Düsseldorf transforms into a captivating hub of natural wonders, precious treasures, and geological marvels: The Düsseldorf Mineral Days are an extraordinary trade fair that brings together collectors, jewelry enthusiasts, science lovers, and creative minds from across Germany and beyond.
Held annually in the elegant setting of the Classic Remise, this event offers visitors of all ages a fascinating journey through millions of years of Earth’s history. More than just a marketplace for unique items, the fair is a place of wonder, learning, and connection with the ancient origins of our planet.
The Düsseldorf Mineral Days are organized by Ria Mayer – an experienced curator of themed public exhibitions. With great passion and dedication, she creates an event that stands out for its high quality, diverse offerings, and welcoming atmosphere.
At the heart of the fair are exclusive jewelry pieces made from gemstones, pearls, and minerals – from intricate necklaces and delicate rings to one-of-a-kind handmade creations. In addition, visitors can explore a remarkable range of natural products: sparkling crystals, rare minerals, raw and tumbled stones, display specimens, and fascinating fossils such as petrified shells and snails – authentic witnesses to Earth’s ancient past. Many of these objects are not only decorative, but also hold scientific and collectible value.
Live demonstrations on site are especially popular with guests of all ages: cracking open geodes to reveal their hidden beauty, expert gemstone identification, and the creation of custom jewelry make the visit a truly memorable experience. Creative visitors will also find a wide selection of supplies – including strands of beads, clasps, tools, reference books, and storage solutions – making the fair a valuable source of inspiration for artisans and DIY jewelry makers alike.
Exhibitors represent a wide range of fields, including geology, paleontology, mineralogy, jewelry design, trade, and crafts. The audience is equally diverse: collectors, jewelers, scientists, families, teachers, students, and professionals from design, research, and museum education take advantage of the opportunity to exchange knowledge, shop, or simply be amazed.
Located in the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia, the event also highlights the geological significance of the Rhineland – a region rich in fossil discoveries and historic mining sites.
The venue itself, the Classic Remise Düsseldorf, is a destination in its own right. Housed in a beautifully preserved piece of industrial architecture, it is easily accessible by car or public transport. Visitors can look forward to a unique combination of exhibition space, classic car displays, and a cultural meeting point.
The Düsseldorf Mineral Days invite you on an educational, dazzling, and inspiring expedition into the world of minerals, fossils, and gemstones – a trade fair experience that unites knowledge, aesthetics, and a deep appreciation for the wonders of our Earth.
The Mineralientage will take place on 2 days from Saturday, 10. January to Sunday, 11. January 2026 in Düsseldorf.
