The Umbria region is known for its truffles. For this reason, in the fall or spring markets and fairs around the Umbrian precious truffles take place in many villages and cities. One of them is the Nero Norcia, which is dedicated to the black truffle. Visitors will have the opportunity to receive detailed information on this specialty and to discuss with experts about the most important economic issues. In addition, many dishes and tastings are offered around the black truffle. But also a lot of other products and Umbrian specialties such as sausage, salami and cheese are offered and make the Nero Norcia be a taste experience unlike any other. The event will be accompanied by painting and photography exhibitions, theater performances and various photo contests. The Nero Norcia is a huge feast of typical gastronomic tradition and local culture and a must for anyone living in the region.
