North East Optical Show - NEOS Providence

The North East Optical Show – NEOS – is one of the most dynamic trade fairs for the independent optical industry in the United States. Since its launch in 2022, it has stood for an innovative trade show concept that blends idea exchange, entrepreneurial independence, and targeted business development. During the show, the venue transforms into a vibrant platform for opticians, independent ophthalmologists, students, entrepreneurs, and technology providers. NEOS is organized by JWL Inc., a company committed to supporting independent players in the optical sector through knowledge sharing, networking, and the strengthening of entrepreneurial identity. The format is intentionally streamlined: instead of large exhibition halls, visitors encounter a curated selection of exhibitors – with no more than two collections per table – in an open, lounge-like setting with music, bars, and culinary offerings.

On display are over 80 independent eyewear collections, innovative lens manufacturers, specialized laboratories, and technology providers offering new approaches to improving efficiency, profitability, and modern customer consultation. A standout feature of NEOS is the close integration of exhibition and education: rather than traditional seminar rooms, knowledge is shared directly within the exhibition space. Topics such as team leadership, pricing strategies, AI-driven customer communication, and sustainable business models are discussed where they matter most – in the daily realities of attendees.
