PharmaLab Expo is a specialized trade fair that has established itself as a central platform for research and development in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The name – short for Pharmaceutical Laboratory – emphasizes the event’s clear focus: promoting innovative laboratory solutions and technological advancements that enable the development of new drugs, therapies, and biotechnological processes.

Originally known as BIOtech Japan, the trade fair takes place annually in the summer at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo – one of Japan's most modern convention centers with optimal public transport connections.

The event is organized by RX Japan Ltd., one of the country’s leading trade show organizers, renowned for high-quality events with strong professional depth. As part of INTERPHEX Week Tokyo, PharmaLab Expo serves as a key meeting point for experts in pharmaceutical development.
