Photo + Adventure Duisburg

Photo+Adventure is an annual trade fair and festival that has, since 2014, uniquely combined photography, travel, and outdoor experiences. The name itself symbolizes the two core themes of the event: photography and adventure. The venue is the striking Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord – a 180-hectare, heritage-listed site of former industrial facilities that today serves as a modern recreational area. The event is organized by P+A Photo Adventure GmbH, which passionately curates an inspiring experience for professionals and enthusiastic amateurs alike.

With its clear focus on photography, travel, and the outdoors, Photo+Adventure offers a trade fair concept that is one-of-a-kind in Germany. Visitors gain insight into current trends in nature, travel, architectural, portrait, and smartphone photography, discover modern camera technologies and accessories, and can participate in hands-on workshops led by renowned photographers. Travel providers and international destinations showcase experiential journeys characterized by sustainability, cultural richness, and active elements. In the outdoor area, equipment for activities such as hiking, trekking, camping, or cycling can be tested on-site – with information on innovations and new brands included.

The fair sees itself as a central platform for exchange, education, and networking among professionals and enthusiasts from the fields of imaging technology, tourism, outdoor activities, the creative industries, and media. A further highlight is the international event concept: in addition to the main event in Duisburg, a partner event is also held in Austria.
