RAWMEC Beirut

The RAWMEC, short for "Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition and Conference," was established in 2016 and has since been Lebanon's leading fair and conference in the field of recycling and waste management. Held annually at the Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace in Beirut, Lebanon, it forms an integral part of the Lebanon Sustainability Week. This comprehensive platform is dedicated to topics surrounding solid and industrial waste as well as alternative energies.

The organization of the fair is managed by Lebanon Expo, which has set itself the task of bringing together experts and interested parties from various fields. The goal is to discuss and present innovative approaches to waste management and sustainable energy sources. The RAWMEC covers a wide range of topics, including ash treatment, medical waste management, management of non-municipal waste, integrated waste management solutions, recycling, energy recovery from waste, and unconventional waste treatment technologies.

The fair showcases advanced products and services, including the latest recycling technologies, Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs), smart waste management, landfill management, industrial waste and wastewater treatment, water-saving technologies, biomass energy, biogas technology, and renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power.
