The annual "Renewable Energy & H2 Utilization" trade fair in Tokyo emphasizes renewable energy and the application of hydrogen as an alternative energy source. H₂, the chemical symbol for hydrogen, is an element with immense potential for transitioning our energy infrastructures towards more sustainable models. Japan, due to its limited natural resources, relies on the development of efficient and sustainable energy sources. The fair takes place every summer in Tokyo, the vibrant capital of Japan. It is held at the renowned Tokyo Big Sight, the country's largest exhibition and convention center, situated on the artificial island of Odaiba in Tokyo's Koto district, and is well-connected to the public transportation network. The event is organized by the Japan Management Association (JMA), a prominent organization committed to advancing Japan's industrial development and enhancing the management quality of Japanese companies. The "Renewable Energy & H2 Utilization" fair is a part of "INDUSTRY-FRONTIER," a larger event that encompasses a variety of industry sectors. The fair covers a broad spectrum of topics related to renewable energy and hydrogen technologies, including hydrogen generation, storage, transportation, and utilization, as well as various renewable energy technologies and systems. It showcases products and services from numerous areas of hydrogen and renewable energy technologies, featuring hydrogen fuel cells, electrolysis devices, hydrogen storage systems, and renewable energy facilities such as solar and wind energy. The fair primarily draws professionals from the energy sector, researchers, business executives, and decision-makers from governmental and non-governmental organizations.
The Renewable Energy & H2 Utilization will take place on 3 days from Wednesday, 23. July to Friday, 25. July 2025 in Tokyo.
