SIMEM Oran

The SIMEM fair is an international health fair held at the Center de Conventions d'Oran in Oran. It is considered the oldest and most important health fair in Algeria. The event features an exhibition of products, equipment, services, and new technologies that bring together different actors whose offers are geared towards the needs of the healthcare sector. Exhibited products include laboratory products, medical imaging, orthopedics, hospital furniture, instruments, medical devices, hospital hygiene, software, and more.

The fair focuses on medical devices, pharmaceuticals, health technologies, prevention, and rehabilitation. The fair has been held annually since its launch in 1998. Evencia, which specializes in organizing trade fairs in various sectors, is the organizer of the fair. In summary, the SIMEM health fair plays a significant role in Algeria, as it is an significant industry gathering for the country and the entire region. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 11. May to 14. May 2022, about 442 exhibitors from 27 countries and 8130 visitors on the SIMEM in Oran.
