The SMART HOME & IoT Expo is Poland’s leading trade fair for intelligent building technologies and connected living environments. Its name represents more than just smart home and Internet of Things solutions—it also serves as a forward-looking acronym that stands for innovation, digitalization, and sustainability in modern living spaces.
The expo takes place annually at the Ptak Warsaw Expo in Nadarzyn, near Warsaw—one of the largest and most advanced exhibition centers in Central Europe. It is organized by Ptak Warsaw Expo Sp. z o.o., an experienced trade fair organizer with an international focus and a clear emphasis on future-oriented technology topics.
The event is specifically designed for industry professionals, including manufacturers, developers, architects, and system integrators, as well as representatives from the energy, construction, and IT sectors. It serves not only as a platform for product launches but also as a catalyst for industry innovation. Technological advancements are showcased in practical applications and presented in an inspiring environment.
At the heart of the expo are networked smart home systems, intelligent IoT devices, modern security solutions such as biometric access controls, advanced HVAC management, and smart lighting and shading technologies. Design and architecture also play a central role, demonstrating how smart technologies can be seamlessly integrated into contemporary living concepts.
The significance of the expo is further emphasized by its close connection to Poland’s technological development. As a growing hub of innovation, the country offers ideal conditions for collaboration between business, research, and practice. The proximity to Warsaw Chopin Airport and excellent transport links make the venue easily accessible for international visitors.
A special highlight of the expo is the series of expert conferences featuring renowned specialists. Practical presentations, keynote speeches, and panel discussions address both current challenges and future opportunities in the industry.
Exhibitors include companies from a wide range of sectors—from pioneers in smart home technology and software firms to energy providers and architectural studios. Visitors primarily come from fields such as architecture, energy supply, building automation, residential housing, and retail.
