The SwissExpo is a renowned international trade fair for cattle breeding and agrotechnology, held annually in January at Le Grand-Saconnex near Palexpo Geneva. Since its inception in 1997, it has evolved into one of the three most important cattle shows in the world, alongside the World Dairy Expo in the USA and the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Canada. It is organized by MCH Beaulieu Lausanne AG.
This fair attracts professionals from the agricultural sector and showcases a wide range of products and services. Over 160 exhibitors from more than ten different industries present their latest innovations here. The exhibition offerings include areas such as livestock breeding and nutrition, agricultural machinery and technology, forestry, and renewable energies.
A special highlight of SwissExpo is the international cattle competition, which draws agricultural experts and breeders from around the world. In addition to the cattle competition, the fair also features events like Showmanship, focusing on the presentation and handling of the animals.
