TABE Dodoma

The Tanzania Agribusiness Exhibition and Stakeholders Forum – TABE - is a national-level exhibition event which aims to promote the agribusiness sector in Tanzania. The exhibition will bring together stakeholders from upstream, midstream, and downstream value chains in the agriculture, livestock, and fisheries sectors. Tanzania Agribusiness Exhibition and Stakeholders Forum will showcase products, services, and technologies from the targeted value chains including agrichemicals, seeds, machineries, financial institutions, research institutes, logistic companies, as well as NGOs. The exhibition will take place at Mashujaa Grounds in Dodoma City near the parliament building. Admission to the exhibition for visitors is free including parking spaces. This will allow maximum visit of farmers to the exhibition and access to the suppliers of vital inputs, financial services as well as buyers. Along with the exhibition, there will be a one-day Agribusiness Stakeholders Conference to hold sustainable dialogues among all stakeholders, address the sector’s bottlenecks, ensure institutional enforcement of standards and regulations, and affect changes in the incoherent policies impacting productivity and sector competitiveness. The overall objective of the Agribusiness Stakeholders Forum is to provide a platform to engage government institutions and private sector participants towards the identification and resolution of critical bottlenecks in the agricultural finance and agribusiness space. The impact of this platform is expected to manifest in increased productivity, a thriving agribusiness environment, increased investment in the sector, improved terms of trade, and increased credit.

The TABE in Dodoma took place from Thur., 05.10.2023 to Sun., 08.10.2023 for the 2nd time.
