A key highlight is the Speed Meetings – short, informal interviews that allow students to introduce themselves directly to recruiters. Complementing this are the TEC Talks, where employers deliver brief presentations followed by Q&A sessions to position themselves as attractive workplaces. The Start-up Corner provides space to connect with young entrepreneurs and explore innovative ideas, while the Job Wall displays up-to-date vacancies from participating companies.

The fair primarily targets students from technical and business-related disciplines – especially in mechanical engineering, materials science, energy and environmental technology, computer science, chemistry, process engineering, and economics. Alongside Leoben, TECONOMY is held annually in Vienna, Graz, and Linz, forming part of a nationwide series of events that bring together ambitious students and a wide range of employers.
