The Taiwan International Tea Expo is an annual international trade and consumer exhibition dedicated to tea, tea culture, tea accessories and related lifestyle products, held in Taipei, Taiwan. As a major trade and showcase event for Taiwan's tea industry, it brings together traditional tea culture, modern product innovations and international business opportunities. The event takes place at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.
The exhibition is organised by Chan Chao International Co., Ltd., a Taiwanese company specialising in international trade fairs and exhibitions, in cooperation with the Taiwan Tea Manufacturers' Association. It provides producers, traders and industry professionals with an opportunity to showcase their products to a wide audience, explore new markets and establish international business contacts.
The exhibition focuses on premium teas from Taiwan's leading tea-growing regions and other producing countries. The product range includes traditional oolong, black and green teas, exclusive high-mountain teas and flavoured speciality blends, alongside ready-to-drink tea beverages, tea-based confectionery, snacks and gift sets. Tea accessories and traditional crafts are another key feature, with exhibits ranging from teapots, fine teaware and traditional Yixing clay pottery to ceramics, wood and stone carvings. The exhibition also features furniture and decorative items for teahouses, modern tea-brewing equipment, packaging solutions and regional agricultural produce. Franchise opportunities and business concepts for specialist tea shops and beverage chains are also represented.
Traditional Taiwanese tea culture is a central feature of the event. Taiwan is internationally renowned for its premium oolong and high-mountain teas. As the exhibition coincides with the winter tea harvest, visitors have an opportunity to discover freshly harvested speciality teas from renowned growing regions such as Alishan, Nantou and Wenshan. Tea tastings, traditional tea ceremonies, presentations of new tea creations and live demonstrations of modern brewing techniques offer insights into the diversity of tea culture. Selected premium teas and award-winning products are also showcased.
Exhibitors primarily represent tea production and processing, the food and beverage industry, wholesale and retail, packaging technology, catering equipment, arts and crafts, and franchising. Trade visitors include importers, exporters, wholesalers, food retail buyers, hospitality professionals, operators of teahouses and beverage chains, and international distributors. The exhibition also welcomes tea enthusiasts, collectors of fine teaware and visitors interested in Taiwanese food, drink and lifestyle culture.
Combining traditional tea culture with premium products and modern business concepts, the Taiwan International Tea Expo offers trade professionals and the general public an opportunity to discover the latest products and developments in the tea industry. The exhibition is held in Nangang, an important business and exhibition district in eastern Taipei. The Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center offers modern facilities and excellent public transport connections. It is easily accessible via Nangang Exhibition Center MRT station, served by the Blue Bannan Line and the Brown Wenhu Line.
The Taiwan International Tea Expo will take place on 4 days from Friday, 13. November to Monday, 16. November 2026 in Taipei.
