TECHNORAMA Hildesheim is an annual trade and public exhibition and ranks among the most important events in Germany for enthusiasts of classic cars, youngtimers, and technical heritage. Since its inception in 1994, it has captivated a growing community of fans with its unique blend of parts market, historic motorsport, and diverse vehicle culture. Since 2005, the event has been held on the expansive grounds of Hildesheim airfield in Lower Saxony—a location that, with its open layout and authentic atmosphere, offers near-museum conditions for showcasing classic vehicles.

The event is organized by Jens Güttinger e.K., based in Ulm, an experienced trade fair organizer who also manages the TECHNORAMA events in Ulm and Kassel. This long-standing expertise ensures a professionally run event and a consistently high standard that is appreciated by both exhibitors and visitors. TECHNORAMA appeals to industry professionals and private enthusiasts alike, bringing together collectors, restorers, club members, specialist dealers, and technology aficionados from across Germany and abroad.

What makes TECHNORAMA Hildesheim stand out is the dynamic combination of market activity, exhibition, and motorsport. At the heart of the event is a large classic car parts market offering a wide array of original components, replicas, tools, technical literature, and accessories for vehicle restoration. Rare classic cars, youngtimers, motorcycles, tractors, and commercial vehicles are also on display—many of them available for sale, either restored or in original condition.

A particular highlight is the classic car meet-up, where vehicles built before 1980 can park for free on the premises and become part of the exhibition themselves. This turns the entire venue into a vibrant open-air museum. Especially impressive are the historic motorsport demonstration runs on the 2.7-kilometer circuit. In the open paddock, visitors enjoy a rare opportunity to view the vehicles up close and engage directly with the drivers.

Around 300 international exhibitors present a diverse selection of products and services, including collectible items such as model cars, leather goods, emblems, signs, and other automotive accessories. The experience is further enhanced by a wide range of food and drink options, adding a culinary dimension to the visit.
