UITS - Unicorns in Tech Berlin

The Unicorns in Tech (UITS) is Germany’s only professional fair specifically designed for LGBTIQ+ professionals working in the technology and digital sectors. The acronym UITS stands for “Unicorns in Tech Summit” – a powerful symbol of visibility and support for queer talent in one of the most innovative fields of our time. Once a year, the SchwuZ in Berlin transforms into a vibrant hub of inspiration, career opportunities, and queer visibility. The event is organized by Uhlala GmbH, a company specializing in diversity and dedicated for years to strengthening the position of queer professionals in the workplace.

The summit combines technological expertise with social responsibility and fosters an inclusive environment. It provides space for exploring key developments in tech – from artificial intelligence and future digital skills to innovation culture. At the same time, it highlights the often-overlooked challenges that queer professionals face in their careers. Topics such as inclusive communication, mental health, leadership, and career development place equal emphasis on personal growth and professional advancement. Diversity, belonging, and equal opportunity define the essence of the event.
