The Vinea Tirolensis is an event organized by the Freie Weinbauern Südtirols (FWS), an association of independent and quality-oriented wine producers in the region. The FWS members are dedicated winemakers who focus on growing high-quality grapes and producing first-class wines that reflect the terroir and the diversity of the South Tyrolean wine landscape. The fair focuses on presenting wines from Alto Adige, a region known for its high-quality wines, especially white wines, but also red wines. The fair features a wide range of grape varieties, including Pinot Grigio and Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Nero, Lagrein, and Schiava and Merlot. Vinea Tirolensis offers participants the opportunity to get to know the diverse South Tyrolean wine landscape, learn about the latest developments and trends in wine production, marketing, and culture, and taste and purchase wines directly from the producers. The Vinea Tirolensis is an event where the independent winegrowers of South Tyrol present and have their wines tasted. This fair offers participants the opportunity to meet the members of the FWS, taste their wines, and learn more about the philosophy and working methods of these independent winemakers.
The Vinea Tirolensis takes place annually, and therefore for the twenty-fifth time previsibly in October 2025 in Bolzano.
