The WEIN & GENUSS Linz is an annual event held at the Design Center Linz, marking the beginning of the wine year in Austria. Organized by Vinaria, Austria's leading wine magazine published by LWmedia GmbH & Co. KG, the fair has become an important meeting place for wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs of fine dining over the years.
The fair focuses on the finest wines and vintners, from all Austrian wine regions as well as international vineyards. WEIN & GENUSS Linz offers a unique platform where visitors can taste exquisite wines and discover a variety of high-quality foods. From delicious regional products to international specialties, the fair presents a wide range of culinary experiences. Visitors can taste not only new wine vintages but also beer, cider, and bacon from Upper Austria, gourmet meatloaf, wild products from the Waldviertel, fresh crêpes, Kaiserschmarren with apricot compote, and various fine spirits.
Another highlight of the fair is the commented Masterclasses, specially offered in the new studio of the Design Center Linz for those interested. These provide an excellent opportunity to deepen one's knowledge and learn directly from experts.
The Design Center Linz, as the venue, emphasizes the exclusivity of this event with its modern architecture and flexible room concepts. The available parking options, both outdoor and in the underground garage at the fair site, ensure convenient access for visitors.
WEIN & GENUSS Linz stands out for its unique combination of high-quality products, expert presentations, and a welcoming atmosphere. It is not just a fair, but a festival of the senses, becoming a memorable experience for wine and gourmet lovers each year.
The WEIN & GENUSS in Linz took place from Friday, 14. February to Saturday, 15. February 2025.
