World Battery Industry Expo WBE Guangzhou

The World Battery Industry Expo (WBE), established in 2016, is one of the world’s leading trade fairs for the battery and energy storage industry. It serves as a key platform for innovation, knowledge exchange, and business networking in one of today’s most dynamic technological sectors.

Held annually at the Canton Fair Complex—Asia’s largest and most modern exhibition center, officially known as the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou—the WBE is organized by Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group Co., Ltd. in cooperation with Guangzhou Honest Exhibition Co., Ltd. Together, they ensure a professional showcase of the latest technological breakthroughs, industrial applications, and market trends.

At the core of the exhibition are forward-looking topics such as advanced battery technologies—including lithium-ion, solid-state, lead-acid, flow batteries, and fuel cells—as well as integrated energy storage systems, intelligent battery management systems (BMS), high-performance supercapacitors, fast-charging and battery-swapping solutions, recycling technologies, and the rapidly growing field of hydrogen energy. The exhibition also features key components such as cathode and anode materials, electrolytes, separators, as well as production and testing equipment.

The WBE covers the entire value chain of the battery and energy storage industry—from raw materials and cell manufacturing to safety systems and battery recycling. Exhibits include solutions for photovoltaic and wind power storage, high-performance batteries for e-mobility, testing and safety technologies, and specialized manufacturing equipment.
