analytica Lab India in Hyderabad is India’s leading trade fair for laboratory technology, analytics, biotechnology, and diagnostics. It forms part of a global exhibition network that includes the renowned analytica in Munich, as well as events in China, Vietnam, and South Africa. Since its debut in Mumbai in 2003, the event has established itself as an annual platform for professionals seeking cutting-edge technologies, industry-specific solutions, and expert knowledge exchange. The trade fair is organized by Messe München India in collaboration with Messe München GmbH, one of the world’s leading trade fair companies.
With its clear focus on the entire laboratory value chain, analytica Lab India combines product showcases, technology demonstrations, and a professional conference into an integrated trade fair concept. It is aimed exclusively at industry professionals – including scientists, engineers, decision-makers from research, industry, and public institutions, as well as laboratory managers from across India and beyond.
Hyderabad, and in particular the modern HITEX Exhibition Centre, was deliberately chosen as the venue. The city is one of India’s foremost hubs for technology and innovation, and a central location for the pharmaceutical, biotech, and IT industries. This makes it an ideal setting for an event dedicated to addressing current and future demands in laboratories – from research institutions to industrial production facilities.
The trade fair covers a broad range of topics, encompassing both established and forward-looking technologies. Key focus areas include analytics, quality control, laboratory technology, life sciences, and biotechnology. Leading companies from India and abroad present innovative solutions – from spectroscopic systems and chromatographic methods to microscopy, mass spectrometry, cell culture technologies, diagnostic procedures, protein analytics, and molecular biology techniques such as PCR and ELISA.
A major highlight is the emphasis on digital transformation in laboratory operations. Topics such as lab automation, networked measuring instruments, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), electronic lab notebooks, and data-driven analytics illustrate how modern labs can enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance. The exhibition is further complemented by segments such as laboratory equipment, consumables, chemicals, reagents, and industrial process analytics – particularly relevant for professionals in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and environmental sectors.
A standout feature of the event is the accompanying conference, which runs in parallel with the exhibition. International experts, scientists, and industry representatives deliver hands-on presentations, panel discussions, and workshops showcasing the latest research findings, analytical methods, and technological developments. This high-level exchange of expertise positions the event not only as a marketplace for products and innovation, but also as a vital knowledge-sharing forum for the industry.
One of the fair’s greatest strengths lies in its strong connection to international markets and global key players – offering valuable networking opportunities for companies looking to enter the Indian market, as well as for international firms with expansion plans in South Asia. In addition, a second edition of the event is held annually at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, further extending its national reach.
In its entirety, analytica Lab India offers a structured, practice-oriented, and specialized platform that effectively serves the needs of manufacturers, service providers, and end users alike. It is the central meeting point for professionals working in analytical, diagnostic, or biotechnological laboratories – whether in research, development, or industrial production – who aim to stay at the forefront of technological and strategic advancement.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 14. September to 16. September 2023, about 216 exhibitors and 21491 visitors on the analytica Lab India in Hyderabad.
The analytica Lab India will take place on 3 days from Thursday, 18. September to Saturday, 20. September 2025 in Hyderabad.
