jobwunder – the career fair initiated by Technische Universität Berlin in 2019 – is a unique event format specifically tailored to the needs of the university’s students and graduates. The name "jobwunder" symbolically reflects the event’s mission: to make careers possible where they begin – at the intersection of knowledge and future.

The fair offers students practical guidance in career planning, is closely integrated with university structures and services, and directly addresses the needs of academically trained young professionals.

Once a year, the TU Berlin campus transforms into a vibrant hub for career entry, talent development, and networking. The event is organized by TUBS GmbH – TU Berlin ScienceMarketing, a wholly owned subsidiary of the university. In collaboration with the Career Service, the Centre for Entrepreneurship, and the university’s alumni team, it forms a strong network for career development.

The fair focuses on key topics such as transitioning into the workforce, preparing for job applications, exploring career paths in academia and industry, fostering entrepreneurial thinking, and developing professional skills. Through talks, workshops, one-on-one coaching, and application document checks, participants receive hands-on advice, constructive feedback, and direct access to experienced recruiters. In addition, a wide range of job offers – including positions for bachelor’s and master’s graduates, trainee programs, and internships – provide a direct path into the job market.

jobwunder connects companies, research institutions, and innovative start-ups from diverse industries – particularly technology, IT, engineering, energy, consulting, and science – with emerging talent. While the fair primarily targets students and graduates of TU Berlin, it is also open to external participants.
