One of the novelties of the next edition are the new, smaller stands, designed to make it easier for companies who do not require a great deal of space to present their products to take part in the Exhibition

Madrid, 5 December, 2014.- The fourth edition of MOMAD METROPOLIS, the International Textile, Footwear and Accessories, Exhibition organised by IFEMA between Tuesday 8 and Sunday 10 February at Feria de Madrid, is showing a healthy pace of sales. Two months before its inauguration, in addition to the large number of firms present in previous editions that have already confirmed their attendance at the next edition, 60 brands are already taking part in the show. So, Jaime Mascaró, Castañer, Chie Mihara, C-Doux, Salord Jover, Argila, Homers, Pretty Ballerinas, United Nude, Audley, Esska, Arche, Caterina Lucchi, Yu, Coral Blue, Mou, Kennel & Schmenger, Kupuri, Naguisa Vic Matie, Vic, Sommits, Silvia Rebatto, See2bee, Ras, Zinda, Baltarini, Versace Jeans and Calvin Klein Jeans, among others, are taking part in the footwear sector in this edition of the show, just as Tonala, Skunfunk, Surkana, CKS. Tiffosis, Confejeans, Crimson Red, Manuela leaves Party, Nubbe Clothes, Elena Silvestre, and Livlov, among others from the fashion industry, are doing.

A positive development which confirms the continuity of the event's growth in past editions, which themselves gave satisfactory results. Specifically, last September's edition concluded with favourable numbers of participants and visitors, with the presence of 900 firms and 24,000 professional visitors, 7% more exhibitors and 13% more visitors than in February 2014.

Also, this sales development strengthens the satisfactory response of the whole sector to the Exhibition, just when the market is in full recovery, and the consolidation of MOMAD METROPOLIS as the Iberian Peninsula's great platform for fashion and trends.

In parallel to marketing, the contest has begun a series of personalised events across Spain with sector manufacturers to publicise the project to new brands and to ensure the loyalty of regular customers.

New-style stands
One of the novelties of the Exhibition's next edition is the new kind of smaller stand -8 metres– compared to the 10-metre minimum that had been offered so far. This is to meet current market needs, and facilitate the participation of firms that need less space for their product.

Great Fashion and Trends showcase
Next February, Momad Metropolis will present its offering in Halls 2, 4, 12 and 14 with the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter collections of the Apparel, Footwear, Accessories, Child, Fashion and Leather Coat, Street, Young Fashion, Urban and Retail Services sectors. Further, because it coincides with the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid from 6 to 11 February, it will again make Feria de Madrid the largest Fashion and trends event in the Iberian Peninsula.

Also, the Exhibition remains committed to children's fashion, which will have its own space, Cosmo Kids. In this space, Little Barcelona, a fair specialising in infancy, will again have a strong presence with its project Little Special Edition, to showcase the most innovative and exciting children's proposals.

As in previous editions, Momad Metropolis will host an extensive program of activities, including the MOMAD Retail Forum, the Exhibition's knowledge area, that will hold various conferences, roundtables and workshops on current retail issues led by leading industry experts.

Momad Metropolis, now managed by Carlos Gonzalez, Development Director of IFEMA, following the departure of Francesco Malatesta, who is undertaking new projects within the sector, will be open from 10:00 to 19:00 the first two days, and from 10:00 to 18:00 hours on the last day. The Showrooms will open on the 7th at 14.00 and on the 8th and 9th, they will be open from 09.30 to 21.00. On 10 February, the last day, the opening hours will be from 09.30 to 17.00
