The vocatium fair is an annual careers and education event held in Flensburg, specifically designed to support young people in the transition from school to vocational training, higher education, or employment. The name vocatium is derived from the Latin vocatio, symbolising vocation and intentional decision-making about the future – a guiding principle that clearly sets the fair apart from traditional career expos. The event is organised by IfT Institut für Talententwicklung GmbH, a nationwide education provider established in 2008 that specialises in personalised career guidance, talent development, and continuing education. With vocatium, the institute has created a practice-oriented format that is recognised across Germany.

The fair focuses on key themes such as apprenticeships, university studies, dual study programmes, career entry, and further training. Exhibitors present concrete opportunities, including apprenticeships, degree programmes, internships, voluntary service placements, and a range of support services such as career counselling, application coaching, and guidance on student finance.
