CNCC - China National Convention Center

The China National Convention Center (CNCC) is located in the Olympic Park in the north of the city, next to the national stadium, which due to its shape is also called "Bird's Nest". The complex consists of the Convention Center, two hotels and two office buildings. Many other hotels are located nearby. The center has eight floors and two basement levels, where a shopping center is located. In the plenary hall on the fourth floor, in 2008, during the Olympic Games, the fencing finals took place. The drive to the airport takes only 30 minutes. Furthermore, a subway station is located in the basement of the building. The exhibition hall at the CNCC covers 23,000 m² and can be divided into four rooms. The above mentioned plenary hall covers 6,400 m² and offers space for 6,000 people. The ballroom covers 4,860 m² and has room for 3,000 people. Additionally, there are more than 70 meeting rooms.
