Expo Silesia

The city of Sosnowiec is situated in the voivodeship of Silesia in the far south of Poland. Here, about 218,000 people live on 91 sqkm. The Expo Silesia in Poland's largest metropolitan area covers an area of more than 17 hectares, with modern exhibition pavilions on more than 43,000 sqm, special platforms for the presentation of heavy machinery and other exhibits, and over 35,000 sqm of outdoor space. Furthermore, the complex offers a conference center for 1,000 persons, a restaurant and a shopping center, and a four-star hotel. The Exhibition Center is centrally located within the metropolitan area and is easily accessible by car and public transport; the international airports Katowice-Pyrzowice and Kraków-Balice are only 20 and 40 minutes away. For the visitors and exhibitors of the 32 fairs in 2011 there are 1,500 parking spaces.
