ALTENPFLEGE 2011 exhibition in Nürnberg

The date of the next ALTENPFLEGE, the Leading Exhibition for the Care Sector in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg, has been changed from March to 12–14 April 2011. Preparations for the exhibition have already started. The exhibitor brochure is finished, the Internet sites have been updated and the application documents have been sent to exhibitors. Companies applying to exhibit by 30 June 2010 profit from the early booking discount. The new date in April was necessitated by the postponement of another exhibition, which overlaps ALTENPFLEGE to a large extent in major exhibitor segments.

ALTENPFLEGE is the sector’s top get-together and alternates annually between the exhibition venues of Hanover and Nürnberg. The last ALTENPFLEGE in Nürnberg in 2009 attracted 34,557 trade visitors, about one third of whom held management posts. 720 exhibitors presented an extensive range of products in the following segments: nursing, therapy, nutrition, textiles and clothing, kitchen and home economics, room furnishings, building services, services, facility management, information and communication systems, organization and administration, technical literature, media and training.

The presentation of products on the exhibition stands is supplemented with an extensive supporting programme, including accompanying congresses, a redesigned version of the Lebensräume special show for next year, the presentation of the ALTENPFLEGE INNOVATION AWARD and various forums.
