Alpine Sports Exhibitions – Appointments from November 2024

Exhibition calender with current Alpine Sports Exhibitions from 16.11.2024. Alpine sports is a collection of sports practiced in the mountains. In contrast to alpinism, mountaineering is only limited to a sporting level and excludes social, cultural and economic aspects. In recent years, alpine sports have become a popular pastime that has been adapted to the needs and expectations of a modern leisure culture.

Alpine Sports Exhibitions worldwide by country

Alpine sports fairs are events that focus specifically on the exhibition of sporting goods and services related to alpine sports. This includes sporting goods and clothing, equipment, accessories and other things related to mountain sports. Among other things, there are also offers from the areas of mountaineering, climbing, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and mountain biking. Other terms under which one can find alpine sports fairs are, for example, “outdoor fairs”, “mountain fairs” or “leisure fairs”. The world's leading trade fair for sporting goods, which takes place annually in Munich, is ISPO. In Innsbruck there is the “alpinmesse” where everything is offered that the alpinist requires. The Interalpin in Innsbruck is for providers and service providers who offer services for alpine athletes. The combined trade fair “Prowinter/Alpitec” in Bozen is aimed at lift operators, winter sports service providers and ski rentals in the Alpine region.
