Antiques Exhibitions – Appointments from October 2026

Antique exhibitions are fairs where primarily antique and rare items are exhibited and sold. They can be regional, national, or international and are mostly attended by professional dealers and collectors. At an antiques fair you will typically also find a large selection of art objects, antiques, collectibles, handicrafts and old books. Many visitors come to purchase a one-off piece or to find out about the current value of certain antiques. Antique fairs differ primarily in the type of items on display and the price. Some fairs specialize in specific items, such as antique furniture, old coins, or old books. Antique fairs cater for collectors, enthusiasts, and anyone else interested in buying or selling antique and rare items. They are also a good opportunity to learn more about antique and rare items and to exchange ideas with other collectors. There are also some related fairs and markets that display similar items, such as auction houses, art fairs, and flea markets. For example, America's Largest Antique and Collectible Shows is a series of events held several times a year at various locations across the United States.
