Bakery Showcase Toronto

05. - 06. May 2024 | Canada's regional exhibition and conference of the baking industry

The Bakery Showcase is a regional trade fair and conference for the bakery and confectionery industry in Canada. It takes place annually and rotates among the three Canadian cities of Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. This rotation allows the fair to cover various regions of Canada and attract a broader audience, as it is present in both the east and the west of the country. Founded in 1965, the Bakery Showcase has since developed into a significant event in the industry.

It is organized by the Baking Association of Canada (BAC), a national organization that advocates for the interests of the bakery and confectionery industry. The BAC has members from various sectors of the industry, including bakeries, suppliers, wholesalers, retailers, schools, and institutions. The Baking Association of Canada places great emphasis on informing its members about the latest trends and technologies and offering them opportunities for networking and further education. The fair presents a wide range of products and services, including raw materials, baking equipment, packaging, services, and technologies. Among the exhibited industries and products are ingredients such as flour, sugar, yeast, baking fats, chocolate, fruits, nuts, as well as various flavors and fillings. Ovens, dough kneading machines, dough portioners, cooling and freezing systems, bread and cake cutting machines are also showcased. A variety of packaging solutions for bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods, including eco-friendly and sustainable options, are also featured. The fair also provides solutions for decoration and presentation, cleaning, disinfection, and food safety in the bakery and confectionery industry, as well as design and planning of bakeries and confectioneries, and marketing and sales support. The focus is on innovation, sustainability, and quality. Highlights of the event include product demonstrations, expert lectures, and workshops, where leading experts share their knowledge. The Bakery Showcase offers trade visitors the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the industry while simultaneously making important connections.

The Bakery Showcase will take place on 2 days from Sunday, 05. May to Monday, 06. May 2024 in Toronto.
