Bakery Showcase Vancouver

The Bakery Showcase is a trade fair and conference for the bakery and confectionery industry in Canada. It takes place annually and alternates between the two Canadian cities of Montreal and Toronto.

Founded in 1965, the Bakery Showcase has since developed into a major industry event. It is organised by the Baking Association of Canada (BAC), a national body representing the interests of the bakery and confectionery sector. The BAC’s membership spans the entire industry, including bakeries, suppliers, wholesalers, retailers, educational institutions and other organisations. The association places strong emphasis on keeping its members informed about the latest trends and technologies, while also providing opportunities for networking and professional development.

The exhibition features a comprehensive range of products and services, including raw materials, baking equipment, packaging, services and technologies. Exhibits cover ingredients such as flour, sugar, yeast, fats, chocolate, fruit and nuts, as well as a variety of flavourings and fillings.

The event also showcases ovens, dough mixers, portioning equipment, refrigeration and freezing systems, and bread and cake slicing machines. In addition, it presents a wide array of packaging solutions for bread, cakes, pastries and other baked goods, including environmentally friendly and sustainable options. Further offerings include solutions for decoration and presentation, cleaning and sanitation, and food safety in the bakery and confectionery sector, as well as bakery design and planning services, and marketing and sales support.
