BiblioMania is far more than a traditional book fair – it is an internationally recognized platform for bibliophilic treasures, a journey of discovery for lovers of the printed cultural heritage, and a meeting point for collectors, dealers, and curious minds in search of the extraordinary. The name BiblioMania symbolically reflects a passionate obsession with rare, antique, and exceptional books, manuscripts, and paper objects – a “mania” in the best sense for everything printed that breathes history.
Once a year, the historic Réfectoire des Cordeliers in the heart of Paris transforms into a vibrant forum of bibliophilia. Organized by the experienced EKA ORGANISATION, BiblioMania offers unique access to a European network of antiquarians, booksellers, gallerists, and experts who showcase carefully selected works with deep expertise and an eye for detail.
From centuries-old books, rare first editions, forgotten manuscripts, and historical magazines to vintage newspapers, fine art prints, provocative erotica, illustrations, posters, and photo books – the diversity of exhibits on display is truly remarkable. Each piece is more than an object; it tells a story that sparks curiosity, inspires, and connects.
A defining feature of the fair is its thematic focus: each edition centers on a changing motto that not only shapes the selection of works but also highlights social, cultural, or historical contexts. This thematic framing turns every BiblioMania into a distinctive, curated experience – surprising, multifaceted, and relevant.
BiblioMania serves as a melting pot for international exhibitors from across Europe, representing fields such as antiquarian bookselling, art dealing, publishing, graphic design, and printmaking. The audience is equally diverse: collectors, museum professionals, researchers, literature enthusiasts, artists, journalists, and culturally engaged visitors come together – united by a shared passion for the printed, the unusual, and the valuable.
Curated special exhibitions, talks, thematic showcases, and awards for outstanding exhibits and collection concepts elevate BiblioMania beyond a marketplace, making it a cultural event of lasting impact.
The Réfectoire des Cordeliers, a stunning 13th-century building in the Latin Quarter, provides the perfect setting for this celebration of printed knowledge. Just steps away from the Odéon metro station, the venue is easily accessible – and serves as an inspiring starting point for a journey through the literary and cultural treasures of Europe.
The BiblioMania will take place on 3 days from Thursday, 12. February to Saturday, 14. February 2026 in Paris.
