COEX Convention and Exhibition Center
- Seoul centre km straight line
The Capital of South Korea Seoul has an area of approx. 605 km and a population of nearly 11 million people. Seoul is the second largest conurbation after Tokio. Satellite towns were built to give accommodation to the people. Creating living space was a difficult task, due to the population density. Seoul represents a Cultural, Economical and Industrial Centre. For a long time, the COEX had been recognized as the most important and leading fairground, but had to give up this position. However, this does not affect the attractiveness of the Center. The COEX was opened in 1979 and offers a hall capacity of 36,000 sqm. Monthly two large fairs and, additionally, numerous guest events take place. The complex offers a good reachability and an optimal infrastructure. Important facilities such as hotels of all categories and restaurants are nearby and the transport connections are excellent.
25 trade fairs
